"The beauty of homeopathy lies in its simplicity, The power of homeopathy lies in its depth, The danger of homeopathy lies in its shallow application". Dr T.P. Paschero
The ECCH and ICH International Education Symposium 23-24 April 2009, Leuven Belgium The education of homeopaths has taken great strides forward over the past three decades and homeopathy is now taught to students at an undergraduate degree level around the World. In some countries homeopathy is now taught as a Bachelor's degree and most recently postgraduate education at MSc level has been developed. For this reason ECCH and ICH decided to host a symposium on the education of homeopaths in order for current best practice to be shared and evaluated and new goals set for the future. The proceedings of the symposium will soon be available on this web-site.

European Guidelines for Homeopathic Education - 2nd Edition 2000 This 54 page document is the second edition of the now well-used and internationally acknowledged 'Guidelines for homeopathic education' first published in 1993. This much evolved 2nd edition has been developed through a process of wide consultation lead by an international working party of educators drawn from professional associations and leading course providers across Europe and beyond. Approved and endorsed by the national association members of the European Council for Classical Homeopathy(ECCH) as official policy, the contents of the document represent the consensus view of a wide cross-section of the European homeopathic profession and homeopathic education community as to the necessary requirements for the full education and training of a competent autonomous homeopathic practitioner. For a practitioner of any other health care discipline taking up the study of homeopathy with the aim of achieving full competence in homeopathic practice, it is expected that they should complete the full homeopathic content of this curriculum including the clinical requirements.
